#1 In stock

This is a car that we have on the lot, ready to go.

#2 Dealer Trade

This is a car we obtain from a fellow Subaru dealer, who will choose a car from us in trade.

#3 In-transit Vehicle

This is a car that has been allocated by Subaru to Planet but has not arrived on the lot yet.  These Subaru vehicles are typically a few days to a month away.

#4 Order

When Subaru introduces a new model that hasn’t been built yet, we can order one for you directly from the manufacturer so you’ll get one of the first ones when they arrive.  Or, if you know exactly what you want and don’t mind waiting, we can place an order.

#1 In stock

  • Drive away as soon as today.

#2 Dealer Trade

  • Usually, the fastest way to obtain a new Subaru is if an in-stock car is unavailable.

#3 In-transit Vehicle

  • If you don’t need the car immediately, this is a simple way to get the car you want if we don’t have it on the lot.

#4 Order

You can typically order the exact model, color, and accessories you desire. Best way to get a new model that hasn’t even been produced yet.

#1 In stock

  • May not be your first-choice color or option and may not be possible for rare or just-released models.

#2 Dealer Trade

Takes a few days also another dealer may not have the exact car and it may have different or more accessories than you would otherwise choose. More complex because your particular car might not be identified at the time of purchase.

#3 In-transit Vehicle

Takes days or a few weeks, depending on the vehicle.

#4 Order

Usually takes ten weeks, and possibly longer for rare models or unusual situations. Most cars arrive as expected, but there’s no way to absolutely guarantee an arrival date.
